The New York Mets settle a Major League Baseball (MLB) ballot based in Queens, in New Royalty City. They play in the Public League East division. In the team's history, the Mets have employed 16 general managers (GMs) (not including interim GMs).[1] The GM controls player transactions, locating and firing of the coaching cudgel, and negotiates with players and agents regarding contracts.[2] The longest-tenured GM go over the main points Frank Cashen, who held the plant for 11 years (1980–1990).[1] The Mets owner is currently Steve Cohen.
